Whitescarver – In Stockton, March 20, 1955, Sarah Ann Whitescarver, beloved wife of the late Walter W. Whitescarver, loving mother J. C. Whitescarver and Stella P. Morissey, both of Stockton, Ann Mack of Petaluma and the late Charley, Frank, Fay, Roy, Nelson and Robert Whitescarver; loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren; a native of Iowa, aged 93 years, 4 months, 19 days. Friends are invited to attend funeral services at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Wednesday, March 23, 1955, at 1 p.m., Rev. Donald Latimer will officiate. C. C. DeYoung and Son in charge of arrangements. Committal at Rural Cemetery.

Sarah Whitescarver Taken by Death
Mrs. Sarah Ann Whitescarver, 93, of 2525 E. Poplar, died last night in a local hospital after an illness of three months. A native of Iowa, Mrs. Whitescarver lived in Stockton 62 years. She is survived by a son, J. C. Whitescarver; a daughter, Mrs. Stella P. Morrissey, both of Stockton. 17 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Charley, Frank. Fay, Roy. Nelson and Robert Whitescarver, and the wife of the late Walter W. Whitescarver. Final rites will be conducted at 1 p. m. Wednesday in DeYoung Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Donald R. Latimer, pastor of the East Side Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Rural Cemetery.
