John H. Kuhn, of Hanover, died December 19, 2012. He was the husband of Mary L. "Midge" Kuhn.
John was born May 21, 1937, in New Oxford, the son of the late Edward H. and Anna G. (Riser) Kuhn.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Oxford and a life member of the New Oxford Social & Athletic Club.
In addition to his wife, Midge, John is survived by a daughter, Cindy Womer and husband, Tom of East Berlin; a son, David Kuhn and wife, Diane of New Oxford; a daughter, Robin Kuhn and her fiance, Tony Bevenour of New Oxford; a stepson, David Herb of Gettysburg; a stepdaughter, Laurie Smith of Hanover; two grandchildren, Jenna Wagner and Brett Kuhn; four stepgrandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; four brothers, Bernard Kuhn of New Oxford, Robert Kuhn of New Chester, James Kuhn of New Oxford, and Joseph Kuhn of New Oxford; and three sisters, Sandra Slagle, Linda Bautzley, and Jane Walker, all of New Oxford.
He was predeceased by a son, Randy Kuhn; two brothers, Edward and Donald Kuhn; and a sister, Barbara Kuhn.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated, December 22, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Oxford, with the Rev. Steven Fauser as Celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
