Mrs. Lorina Lorene Knab, 68, Box 641, Altoona RD 5, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born Sep. 30, 1930, in Hollidaysburg, the daughter of Sammuel Harison and Lorma Elizabeth (Sechrist) Mundorff. She married Joseph Knab Oct. 1, 1949, in Altoona. He died June 3, 1997.
Mrs Knab was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Knab was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School.
She was a member of the Kittanning Trail Fire Company Auxiliary, various bowling leagues and The 600 Club. She served on the Blair County Election Board for many years.
Surviving are two daughters: Linda Kay Tanzi and Karen Sue Johnson, both of Altoona; three sons: Joseph Jr. of Winfield, Kan., John Scott of Altoona and Lloyd Harrison of Duncansville; three sisters: Viola Byson of Nanty Glo, Gladys Bick of Duncansville and Ruth Singleton of Altoona; two brothers: James of Bedford and Gilbert of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; and three great-granchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m today at Scaglione Funeral Home. Committal service at Calvery Cemetery.
