Alice Laws Satterfield died at her home on Dec 13, 2012. She was born on Oct 14, 1930 in Skiatook, Okla., to Collins L. and Nora Laws. Following graduation from Oklahoma State University (OSU), she married Samuel Paul Satterfield, Sr. and settled in Stillwater. When her children were older, she returned to work at OSU and remained until she retired. Several years after her husband Sam died she married Ernie Goudie. Alice was a member of the Chapter DU, PEO, and the Stillwater United Methodist Church.
She was prededeased by her parents; her brother Collins Laws, Jr.; sister Joan Owens; her son Samuel Paul Satterfield, Jr.; was well as her husbands, Sam Satterfield and Ernie Goudie.
She is survived by her duaghter Paula Baskin, of Shawnee and, and daughter Mira of Stillwater,and son-in-law, Max Weeks, of Stillwater.
A reception for family and friends will be held at 12:30 p. m., on Wednesday, Dec. 19th at the Stillwater First United Methodist Church. A memorial service will at 2 p. m. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
