Mrs. Adams had worked 22 years as manager of the lunchcounter at the former Goodnight's Drug Store (corner of 9th and Union streets), Lafayette, retiring in 1974. She was a member of Elston Heights Baptist Church.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Kelley of Rock Hill, SC; and two brothers, Floyd Bishop of Texas and Jack Bishop of West Lafayette; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty J. Worman; two brothers, William and Wilbur Bishop; two grandsons, Richard Muston and Steven Muston; and a great-grandson, Joshua Bryant.
