Alice May Farnsworth, 83, widow of Ellis A. Farnsworth, 1010 E ave. NW, a Cedar Rapids resident for 70 years, died Tuesday following a long illness. Born in Cedar Rapids Dec. 5, 1874, she was married here on Dec. 5, 1893, and lived here all her life excepting for 13 years in MEnton, Ohio. Mr. Farnsworth died in 1934.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Edmund (Annabel) Tucker of Cedar Rapids.
Mrs. Farnsworth was a member of the Daniels Park Presbyterian church, and also a member of the Townsend club.
Services: Beatty-Beurle's at 1:30 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. William E. Pfeffer of Knox Presbyterian church. Burial: Oak Hill. Friends may call at the chapel after 7 p.m.
