At his residence in Fayette, on Friday last, Mr. Thomas Bee age 62 years. We were surprised to hear this sad news as but a short time before his death. Mr. Bee transacted business with the Register office and seemed to be in perfect health. We have not learned the particulars of his sickness. We have known him for many years and a more honest man we never knew. He was buried on Sunday in the cemetary at the Stone church in Wiota.

Mr. Bee followed the occupation of a coal miner in this city for many years, but lately has been on a farm of his own in the above state. The deceased leaves a large family the most of whom are married and living in Streator.
