Patricia's mother was Marium [sic] Petty McCormick and her father was Clarence S. McCormick. If I have the correct death certificate & data, Clarence S. was born in Texas (plausible because Patricia and her brother were apparently both born in Waco, Texas and because the family is on the 1940 Texas census).
Clarence's death certificate data: b. 4 January 1907 & d. 21 December 1974 (Humboldt, CA).
Patricia's brother was Thomas Michael (Tommy) McCormick, who was born and grew up in Texas, lived much of his life in CA, and died in Arkansas in 2012.
Patricia and Tom are children of grandchildren of Rose Willingham Petty and Tom Petty.
