Mr. Brashears was born in Davis, OK and lived in Amarillo for several years. He moved to Shamrock from Amarillo in 1955.
He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and he was a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disable American Veterans. Mr. Brashears was a contract house builder.
