"Wife of George Snow" on the stone. She was the of Revolutionary War Patriot Hamilton Grant, who was at the Battle of Bunker Hill. She was a DAR Real Daughter, which means she was the daughter of a Rev. Soldier. Many family ladies have become DAR members since Minerva; she was a member of the Anne Wood Elderkin Chapter. After a carriage accident, she was paralyzed & had been living for 4 years with her daughter at the time of her demise & interestingly, the funeral was held at the residence in Willimantic, CT.
George & Minerva had 7 children, listed below.
