Uriah is the son of David Barrett (5/4/1780-11/27/1844) and Winifred Kirby (3/12/1787-6/11/1867). David & Winifred died in Cadiz, Harrison, Ohio.

Uriah Barrett passed away at his
home near Frankfort, Kansas on
November 16, 1885 at 7:30 p.m.
from neuraigia of the heart. He
was 72 years and 12 days of age.

Mr. Barrett was born in Harrison
county, Ohio. He moved to Iowa
and remained there for a few years
and then returned to Ohio. After
which he moved west to Marshall
county, Kansas, and for the past
eighteen years has lived here just
southwest of Frankfort, Kansas on
his farm.

Funeral services were held from the
family home with Reverend J.T.
Mayor officiating, burial was in the
Frankfort Cemetery.
