Elois E. Thompson, 79, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, at Chapel of Winn Funeral Home in Lexington. Burial will be in the Horse Cave Municipal Cemtery, Horse Cave, Kentucky.

Elois E. Bell was born June 7, 1919, in Hart County, the daughter of Grover and Millie (Jeffries) Bell. She married Rev. William Edward Thompson. Together they lived in Horse Cave. William preceded her in death on November 21, 1984. She was a member of Cedar Cliff Baptist Church and a lifetime member of Rio Verde Order of Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Lela Jones, Pauline Shuffett and Mazetta Carothers, one sister-in-law, Cyrene Bell and one brother-in-law, William Richardson.
