She was born March 23, 1913, to John M. and Florence M. Kindall, in Coolidge.
On July 7, 1933, she married Lawrence Truett Ashmore. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ashmore lived on the farm before moving to the Seasons of Life Living Center in Syracuse.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one daughter, Lois E. Albright; one son, Lawrence Truett Ashmore; one brother, James Monroe Kindall; and one sister, Mary Alice Schoonover.
Survivors include four sons, Alton Ashmore of Hays, Bill Ashmore of Logan and John and Lynn Ashmore, both of Syracuse; two daughters, Janet Valdez of Arboles, Colo., and Nancy Krause of Broadview, Mont.; 33 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. MST Saturday at the First Christian Church in Syracuse. Burial will follow at the Syracuse Cemetery.
Visitation hours are from 3 to 7 p.m. MST Friday at Fellers Funeral Home in Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hamilton County Historical Society or Hamilton County Hospital, in care of Fellers Funeral Home and Monuments, LLC, P.O. Box 1253, Syracuse, KS 67878.
