1917 - 2012 On Friday, December 7, 2012, Edith Bruce widow of Andrew Bruce, Langbank, SK., retired Kipling, SK., and of late Willowdale Lodge, Kipling, died at the age of 94 years. Mrs. Bruce was predeceased by her husband, Andrew in 2010, her parents Albert and Jean(nee Daily) West, two brothers, Bob and Bill West, and two sisters, Cecil Purdon and Iris Sheppard Mrs. Bruce is survived by her twin sons and one daughter: son, Garth (Pam) Bruce and their family Dean, Ryan, Alison and Jessica Bruce and Kim (Darren) Petrew; son, Garry (Barbara) Bruce and their family Derek (Jenn) Bruce, Glenda (Shawn) Grice, and Corwyn (Launa) Bruce; daughter, Florence (Bill) Wardell and their family Leslie (Andrew) Merryweather, Stephan (Megan) Merryweather and Ellen Wardell; her great grandchildren: Eric (Jen), Sarah and Evan Petrew; Joel, Deanna and Chad Bruce; Cole and Ashley Grice; Georgia and Charlie Bruce, AJ Merryweather, Samuel and Anna Wardell; her great-granddaughter Sienna Petrew, one brother, Jim West and one sister, Gladys Bourhis, also survived by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held in the Langbank United Church, Langbank, SK., on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Wilkins officiating. Lunch in the Langbank Community Centre to follow immediately after the funeral service. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Moosomin, SK., at approximately 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire contributions to the Langbank United Church, Langbank, SK., S0G 2X0 or to the Willowdale Lodge, Kipling, SK., S0G 2S0 or to the Alzheimer Association of Saskatchewan, 301 - 2550 12th Ave., Regina, SK., S4P 3X1 may be tokens of remembrance.
