Evelyn Earley Hatch Kinsey, passed away December 9, 2012 from causes related to age. She was born May 13, 1929 to Jeremiah Earley and Violet Bardella Daniels in Round Valley, Utah. Evelyn lived in the Bear Lake area as a youth and later moved with her family to Springville. Evelyn met and married Delmar Hatch in 1948 but later divorced. She later married Marvin J. Kinsey. Evelyn worked at the Utah State Hospital in Provo as an LPN and psychiatric technician for 16 years.

Evelyn loved family outings on Strawberry Reservoir fishing for the big ones and deer hunting on a warm fall day. She especially enjoyed watching Utah Jazz games.

Evelyn was a member of the LDS Church. She will be missed by her friends and especially by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, one brother, one granddaughter, and one grandson.

Evelyn is survived by her children: Grant (Gay Lynn) Hatch of Vernal, UT; David (Veda) Hatch of Springville, UT; Anna Marie (James) Larsen of Murray, UT; Blaine (Vickie) Hatch of Genola, UT; and Diane Burnside of Springville, UT. She is also survived by her sisters: Nida Christensen of Spanish Fork, UT; and Geraldine Black of Payson, UT; 18 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.

Special thanks to the Freedom Hospice care providers for their wonderful care of Evelyn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Spring Creek 14th Ward Chapel at 672 N. 250 W. Springville with a viewing from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Wheeler Mortuary.
