Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 19, 2009 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Kathlene Carrier Pernasilice, 58, who died at the residence of her sister on March 15, 2009.
Marshall Clotiaux, Pastor of Living Faith Fellowship, will conduct the funeral services.
Ms. Pernasilice, a resident of Lafayette, LA, was the daughter of the late John Levens Carrier of Church Point, Louisiana and the former Lois Thibodeaux of Mowatta, Louisiana. Kathlene worked for several years as a chauffer for Limosines Ltd. and as a newspaper courier for the Daily Advertiser, she also worked for Martin and Castille Funeral Home and Delhomme Funeral Home as a receptionist. She was a very warm and caring mother, sister and best friend. She was a faithful member of Living Faith Fellowship.
She is survived by her son Peter Joseph Pernasilice III; two sisters, June Clotiaux and husband Marshall of Lafayette and Nadine Mahfouz and husband Louis of Lafayette; three brothers, Randall Carrier and wife Janice of Lafayette, John Carrier of Lafayette and Maurice Carrier of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Marcy Abboud and one brother, Kent Carrier.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana was in charge of funeral arrangements.
