Pauline Evelyn Henson, 90, of Springfield, passed away Thursday (Dec. 6, 2012) at Lewis Memorial Christian Village, Springfield.
She was born June 18, 1922 in Bloomington, the daughter of Albert and Elfreida Gellert Richter. She married Merle Henson on Aug. 17, 1941 in St. Charles, Mo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Gloria Shellhammer and Charlene Henson; sister, Lorraine Fitzgerald and brother, Albert Richter Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Henson; son-in-law, Robert Shellhammer; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
