Found in The State 13 October 1979: James M. Conrad, 61, 1230 Greenville Circle, died Friday at the VA Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Albion, Ind., a son of the late Shirley and Flossie Conrad. He was a retired employee of Gaines Construction Company, a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church and a World War II veteran. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eula Mae Conrad; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Wiggins of Lake Murray; a son, James E. Conrad Jr. of Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Janice Fulford, Mrs. Mavis Fulford and Deloris Thresh of Albion, Ind.; and two brothers, Charles and Norman Conrad of Albion, Ind.
