He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Celia Mae Lane.
Survivors include his sons, Robert (wife, Pam), of Oklahoma City, OK, Eddie (wife, Cookie), of Hollywood, Ernest E. (wife, Collett), of Virginia City, VA, Timothy, Roy and Jeffery, all of Brooksville; a daughter, Barbara Lane of Brooksville; 13 grandchildren; and 12 surviving siblings.
Friends will be received 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM Friday at Turner Funeral Homes Brooksville Chapel, 504 E. Jefferson St., where Funeral Services will be held 9:30 AM Saturday.
Burial will follow in Lake Lindsey Cemetery, Brooksville.
