Mrs. Martha Ada Thompson died at Lincoln County Hospital Monday following a long illness. She was 90 years old and was the wife of William Madison Thompson, who survives.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) at Gallant Funeral Home in Fayetteville with I. C. Pullias officiating. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
She was a native of Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Wilson P. and Edith Elizabeth McWhirter Thompson. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, are four nieces, Mrs. Pauline Kent, Mrs. Thelma Miles, Mrs. Ada Deal, and Mrs. Elnora Howard, all of Lincoln County.
