Mary E. McKee, 81, of Lacon and formerly of the Washburn area, died at 1:51 a.m. Saturday (Oct. 7, 1989) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria.
Mrs. McKee was born Oct. 19, 1907, in Bloomfield, Iowa, a daughter of Charles and Byrnle Battin Ebbert.
She married Curry O. McKee on Dec. 2, 1941, in Curryville, Mo. He died Dec. 5, 1984.
Surviving are one son, James, Washburn; one daughter, Mary Jean McKee, Washburn; nine grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, four brothers, one sister and one grandchild.
She was a member of Washburn Christian Church and served as deputy county clerk of Marshall County from 1930 to 1941.
