This man has a very sad story to tell. Born to John and Susannah Fielding in Clitheroe, England. Came to the United States in 1882. Married Selina(I believe Dooley). But the fire of 1890 has prevented the 1900 Census to be revealed, which offerrs a wealth of information for these people. John William was a Machinist/Blacksmith by trade. The family seems to have taught their boys this trade thru the generations. As far as I can tell they had 4 children. Simpson William born 1 October 1884 and died 3 September 1948, George 1887-1968, Marjorie, Margaret,and/or Margurite 1889 - ?,(married Lawrence Boulster), and John Dooley Fielding 1890 - 1895 who died at 4 yrs old of diptheryia. John William's brothers, sisters and his father came to the United States to help him with his children, after the sudden death of his wife. Return of a Death revealed she died of TB. Because the records were destroyed, we can't find the marriage of John and Selina nor the birth record for Simpson.
I found the burial records for John, Selina, and Mary his 2nd wife thru the burial records of John Dooley Fielding.
Buried Lot 208, Section A, Grave 1...buried in the next grave over was his 2nd wife Mary and her 1st husband Nathaniel Hulton. He died at 31 yrs ..Albert Riley age 42 and Ruth Riley age 46 are also buried there..I don't know the relationship yet ...I recieved the Certificate of Death for John William which states he died of Prostatism Hydronephrosis and myocardial degeneration. A new person comes to light with this certificate "Lila Fielding - Wife" I found their marriage in 1938 thru Ancestry....if you have any other family information, please contact me.
