"Gladys M. Wright, 92, died Saturday afternoon, Dec. 22, 1973 at her home, --- E. Main Street, Stockbridge.
Born Oct. 5, 1881 in Plainfield, she was the daughter of Charles and Sarah Abbott Mapes.
On Aug. 24, 1904 she was married to William Wright.
Mrs. Wright was a member of the Stockbridge First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter , Mrs. Merton (Mary) Gundry of Pittsford, N.Y.; one son, J. Richard Wright of Carlisle, Mass.; six grandchildren and two great grand-children.
Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 24, at the Caskey Funeral Home with the Rev. Stuart Werner officiating. Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery."
