Lee Gauthier Burgess Banner, of Manchester, formerly of Enfield, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, (August 29, 2001) at the Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford.

Born in Manchester, Lee had been a resident of the Enfield community for several years. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed with the State of Connecticut in the Labor Dept.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Stanley A. Burgess, and Edward 0. Banner. Lee is survived by her three daughters, Janice Burgess Schack of Enfield, Joan Burgess Adams of Enfield, and Donna Burgess Bizub of Tully, NY; a "special" sister, Alice G. St. Pierre of Tiverton, RI; 12 grandchildren, Deborah Schack, Diane Schack Munroe, Marianne Schack Nations, Jill Schack Vetrone, Thomas Schack, Lisa Schack, Sharon Adams Cousineau, Dawn Adams Such, Kerry Adams Paulus, David Adams, Mark Bizub, and Kirk Bizub; eight great grandchildren, Valerie Sloane, Ericka Cousineau, Richard Cousineau, Craig Paulus, Kevin Paulus, Kyle Such, Michelle Such, and Nathaniel Bizub; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her sisters, Regina Bartz and her husband, Jacob, Marie Froeliger and her husband, Adolphe, Ida Beruby and her husband, Alphonse; her brother, Odilon Gauthier and his wife, Beatrice.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 31, 2001, 10:15 a.m. Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd. for a procession to St. Patrick Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Enfield Street Cemetery. Lee's family will receive relatives and friends at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, TODAY from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations in Lee's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
