Jerry Roy Daniels, age 66 of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at his home.

The son of Roy William and Lois (Neal) Daniels was born June 6, 1946 in Harrison.

Jerry was a member of Eagle Heights Baptist Church. He was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He enjoyed playing poker and was an honorary member of the "Liars Club" at the Depot Truck Stop, however, his greatest joy were his grandchildren.

Before his retirement he had been a manager for Butternut Bread Company for 30 years. He then began driving a Valley Springs School bus. He was also a cattleman and a farmer, and a Mason at Bellefonte Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Clyde, Dolan, Johnny, and Bill Daniels; sisters, Helen Cundall, Jo Riggs and Minnie Greenhaw; and mother-in-law, Marie Huffman.

Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Judy (Ellis) Daniels of the home; daughter, Sheri Fry and husband Kenneth of Harrison; son, Will Daniels and wife Nikki of Harrison; sisters, Donna Holcomb and husband Billy and Sue Simmons and husband Alfred all of Harrison, and Mary White of Towananda, Kansas; six grandchildren, Austin and Emily Daniels, Sydney and Haylie Fry, and J.J. and Tori Roberts; sisters-in-law, Christine Daniels, Jan Anderson and husband Todd all of Harrison, and Jean Twiggs and husband Robert of Berryville; father-in-law, Ray Huffman of Dover, Arkansas; aunt, Dorothy (Greenwald) Berman of Kimberling City, Missouri; uncle, Jimmie Daniels and wife Marie of Harrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday, December 6, 2012 with service 10 A.M. Friday, December 7, 2012, both at Coffman Funeral Home Chapel in Harrison. Rev. David Shekels and Rev. Glenn Crenshaw will officiate.

Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery with pallbearers being Todd Anderson, Randy Kimes, Jimmy Kimes, Josh Manns, Josh Tramell, and Mike Savage.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Jim Langston, Dr. Shannon Brownfield, the Wouund Care Unit at NARMC, Valley Springs School bus drivers ,his Tuesday night poker buddies, the Coffee Shop "Liars Club", and his name sake, Jerry Clay Anderson.
