Passed away Monday morning, November 9, 1965, at Bronson Hospital, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Mrs. Sanford was born December 3, 1903, near Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo County, Michigan, the daughter of Henry and Cora Allen Stillwell. She was employed in housekeeping at Bronson Hospital and was a member of the Winchell Avenue Christian Church. Mrs. Sanford is survived by her husband, Virgil; 2 sons, Virgil David and Eugene Henry of Kalamazoo 2 daughters, Mrs. Herman (Janet) Zuidema of Kalamazoo and and Mrs. Leonard (Joyce) Penny of Gobles; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Alvin Stillwell of Kalamazoo; 2 sisters, Mrs Ethel Bennett of Kalamazoo and Mrs. Leslie (Isa) Harris of Lawton; several nieces and nephews. Friends are being received at the Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the Winchell Avenue Christian Church, Rev. E.C. Watterworth officiating. Interment in Harrison Cemetery, Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.
