Gary E. Anderson
Mt. Pleasant - Beloved husband, father, and grandpa Gary E. Anderson, 56, died peacefully at home December 28, 1999.
He was born to Donald E. and Ina M. Anderson on Oct. 27, 1943, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. He attended local schools and graduated with a Masters Degree from Utah State University.
Gary married Paula Nelson, August 23, 1963. Together they had two children.
Gary worked for Utah Power and Light as an operator at their Huntington Power Plant. Gary was a great friend, his sense of humor was a joy to all those who knew him. He loved his family and loved nothing more than playing with his grandchildren. He enjoyed camping and four wheeling on the San Rafael with family and friends and enjoyed the family pets. HE found solitude working on his farm and caring for his horses. HE will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survived by his wife; his children of Mt. Pleasant and Fairview; brother; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 31, 1999 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Stake Center (295 South State Street). Friends and family may call at the Ursenbach Funeral Home (96 North 100 West Mt. Pleasant) on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery.
