HOPELAWN — Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Adele Leonard, 31, of 31 Clyde Avenue, in the James J. Higgins and Son Mortuary, Elizabeth. She died Friday after being struck by an automobile while crossing New Brunswick Avenue near Ryan Street. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
Born in Brooklyn, N. Y.. Mrs. Leonard had lived in Woodbridge Township for the last three years. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smalto of Elizabeth.
Surviving also are her husband, Fred Leonard; two sons Russell, 6, and Christopher, 5; two daughters, Debbie, 11; and Donna, 8; and two sisters, Miss Rochelle Smalto of Elizabeth and Mrs. Harriett Gettis, also of Elizabeth.
