Wife of Rev. A. P. Gregory, whose full name is Andrew Painter Gregory. After much research, it seems that the Presbyterian minister's wife Emily Daisy Bedinger Gregory, b. 1873, died Jan 15 1955, Jacksonville, Duval, FL less than one week after the death of her evangelist husband. They lived at 636 Oak, near North Jacksonville, Florida (residence as per Jacksonville City Dir, 1931 [ancestry.com]. Perhaps, Gregory's Chapel near to Petersburg, Lincoln Co., Tennessee factors in here? Mt Hope's records have her buried as "Daisy Bedinger Gregory".

We learn from the book, George Michael Bedinger: a Kentucky pioneer, By Danske Dandridge, pgs 224-226 that "Sixth, Emily Daisy Bedinger, born March 16, 1873, married May 25, 1892, Andrew Painter Gregory, Presbyterian minister. They have seven [Gregory] children: Emma Elizabeth, Oct. 11, 1894; John Benjamin, May 27, 1896; Sarah Bedinger, July 23, 1898; Mabel Cleopatra, July 23, 1900; Daisy Theresa, Oct. 16, 1902; Edward Daniel, Jan. 11, 1905; and Andrew Faw, Oct. 8, 1908." Are there descendants living from these lines? Hope so!

Amazingly, this family is also mentioned on p43 of an old family journal, with this being in a section added on later dated 1938; here we learn that Emily Daisy had "nine children, four girls and five boys. All married but two." Following this the children are named, with a few notes.

Emma Elizabeth Gregory m. Thomas Adams, and they had four children.

Sarah Bedinger Gregory m. ____ and they had two children.

Mable Cleopatra Gregory married ______ [no notation as to any kids or not]. [Could this be findagrave, 48272021, Cleo Gregory Grigsby? speculation-this Cleo was born Jul. 23, 1900 on findagrave entry]

John Benjamin Gregory married ____ and had two sons.

Edward Gregory and Andrew Faw Gregory also married, but Theresa (sp?) Gregory and Robert Gregory were both said to be unmarried.

Henry Gregory married "Minister" [unclear if profession (ie Rev Henry Gregory??) or surname (ie Miss ___ Minister) or ??]. [bio by findagraver, DBardes]
