Caroline (Kay) Loupe, 86, formerly of North East, PA passed away Thursday, December 11, 2008 at her residence in Ft. Pierce, FL. She was born in Erie, PA on January 28, 1922, a daughter of the late John and Sophie Stanzack Astemborski.
Kay was a homemaker and a member of St. Gregory Church in North East.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Frank Astemborski and two sisters, Harriett Capwill and Florence Rocki. Kay is survived by her husband of 69 years, Tony Loupe, whom she married August 23, 1939, one son, Bob Loupe and his wife Cyndi of Port St. Lucie, FL, three daughters, Mary Jane Yokom and her husband Stan of North East, Toni Marie Bostwick and her husband Michael of Ft. Pierce, FL and Carol Ann Bagley and her husband Danford of North East and one brother, Edward Astor of Evansville, IN. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the W. Tad Bowers Funeral Home, 92 S. Lake St., North East, PA on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. and are invited to attend prayer services there on Thursday at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gregory Church at 10:30. Interment will follow in St. Gregory's Cemetery. Memorial donation may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.
