Adele Porter Bondurant, age 97. Sunrise November 16, 1915 and Sunset November 21, 2012. She retired from Franklin County Children's Service.

A longtime and faithful member of Mt. Zion COGIC and more recently attended The Church in Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by:her parents Jim and Irene Golden, husbands Harry Bass, John Porter and Thomas Bondurant and sisters Alberta Brannon, Daisy Hicks and Missionary Julia Franklin.

Left to cherish her memory, Elder George (Freddie) Porter and Charles (Denise) Porter; daughters, Mary Bass-Ghee (Robert), Evangelist (Pastor Edward) Black and Ann Elizabeth Coleman; stepsons, Rev. John (Leisia) Bondurant, Thomas (Sherry) Bondurant, Paul Bondurant, David (Lydia) Bondurant, Richard (Wanda) Bondurant; stepdaughter, Judy (Louis) Harper, Geri Clanton, Patty (Chuck) Harris, Carmen (Charles) Hill and Linda (Greg) Morris; 18 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. followed by Home Going Service at 1 p.m. Wednesday November 28, 2012 at Church in Jesus Christ 1135 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Union Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
