Odie D. Weikle was born near Decatur, Ill., May 6, 1887 and died at his home December 22, 1940, being 53 years, 8 months and 16 days of age.

In 1910 he removed from Decatur to Guymon and lived here about a year, returning to Decatur until 1917 when he again returned with his family and took up residence northwest of Guymon where he has since lived until his departing.

In 1911 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Gloden. To this union were born eleven children, one of whom preceded him in death.

In 1933 he was converted to the Christian Faith and Baptized into the Baptist Church of Glen Rose.

He leaves to mourn their loss, the wife and ten children. Four sons: Homer of Boone, Colo.; Charles of Spearman, Tex., Robert of Liberal, Kans., and Wayne at home. Six daughters: Lillie, Lulu, Irene, Erma, Pearl, and Bertha of the home. Also, three brother: W. D. Weikle of Forsythe, Ill., Marrideth Weikle and Herman Weikle of Dectur, Ill. Two sisters: Mrs. Gertie Andrews of Decatur, Ill. and Mrs. Florence Crowell of Ninantic, Ill. Also a host of other relatives and friends.
