Funeral services for Mrs. Henrietta W. Green (1879-1961), Jacksonville, who died Friday morning en route to the hospital after a short illness, will be held at 2 p.m.tomorrow in the Chapel of the Hardage and Sons Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Burial will be in Oak Hill East Cemetery in Palatka at 4 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Hansen officiating.
Mrs. Green was born in South Carolina, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Magnus Williams. She lived in Fruitland until her marriage and then lived in Welaka. She had made her home in Jacksonville for 55 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Roy Cape of Jacksonville; three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Rozier of Palatka, Mrs. W. S. Middleton, Sr., of Pomona Park and Mrs. E. B. Gautier of St. Petersburg; three brothers, C. Clyde Williams of Palatka, A. Da Costa Williams of Tampa and Rev. Charles E. Williams of New Bern, N.C.; a nephew, Clyde D. Middleton; a granddaughter, Mrs. A. C. Crews of Miami; and two great-grandchildren, Roy and Melanie Crews of Miami.
Pallbearers will be Henry Holcomb of Jacksonville, W.S. Middleton, Jr. of Pomona Park. and the following from Palatka: Clyde Rozier, Clyde Middleton, Sr., W. W. Roberts and Clyde Middleton, Jr. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Monday, 2 Oct 1961.)
