HEADING: Anna M. Gosman, 84, Resident of Monticello
MONTICELLO - Anna M. Gosman, 84, of 106 St. Mary Ave., went home to be with the Lord at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2000, in White County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Wolcott on Feb. 18, 1916, to Lester A. and Sara A. Davis Miller. She married Harold E. "Dick" Gosman in Wolcott on Sept. 2, 1938. He died Nov. 30, 1990. She was a 1934 graduate of Brookston High School. She had lived in Monticello since 1935. She and her husband owned and operated Gosman's Photography Studio in their home in Monticello. She worked at Ace Hardware in Monticello for 24 years, retiring in 1979. She was an active member of Delta Theta Tau Alpha Alumni. She is survived by a son, Larry M. Gosman of Monticello; a brother, Lloyd G. Miller of Indianapolis; and sisters, Iva Yount of Monticello and Thelma Kendall of Lafayette. Two brothers and a sister are deceased. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James Cobb officiating. A Delta Theta Tau Alpha Alumni service will be included at the church. Visitation will be for one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Riverview IOOF Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
