LOCKMAN Raymond B. Lockman, 83, of Hilliard, Oh., passed away in Hilliard, Oh. on November 20, 2012. He was a longtime resident of Washington C.H. He was born August 4, 1929 in Chicago, Ill. and raised in Clear Springs, Jackson Co., Ind. by the late John England and Florence Juanita Owen Lockman. Mr. Lockman was a 1952 graduate of Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind. and received his Masters degree in Agronomy from Purdue in 1957. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1953- 1955 in Germany. He was a former manager of Agrico Laboratories in Washington C.H., Oh. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives Dorothy Leigh Martin Lockman whom he married in Brownstown, Ind. in 1953 and Roberta "Bobbi" Speaks Lanum Lockman whom he married November 21, 1998 in Washington C.H, Oh. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Julie Ann Anderson, two brothers Glenn and Jackie Lockman, a sister Mary Elizabeth Hanners, a granddaughter Wendy Leigh Lockman and son-in-law Robert Scott Anderson. He is survived by a son, Paul (Deborah) Lockman of Hilliard; a step-son, Scott (Marsha) Lanum of Hilliard; two step-daughters, Cindy Self of Las Vegas, Nev. and Leslie (David) DaRif of Washington C.H.; a brother, Andy (Jan) Lockman of Brownstown, Ind.; two grandsons, Morgan Anderson of Dunn, NC and Raymond (Hannah) Lockman of Dublin, Oh; granddaughter, Adrienne and Daniel Crawford of Hilliard; and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Crawford of Hilliard, Oh. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m on Tuesday, November 27, at the MORROW FUNERAL HOME in Washington C.H. with Pastor Robert Abrams, of the Resurrection Lutheran Church of Hilliard, Oh., officiating. Burial will be in the Washington Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, November 26 from 6-8 p.m at the funeral home.
