Mrs. Christina Lange, 80, of Donk Street, Maryville, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Parkview Colonial Manor in O'Fallon where she has been a patient about nine days.
Born Dec. 25, 1886 at Peters Station, she had resided all her life in Maryville. Her parents were Herman and Minnie (Stuckwisch) Groenenmeyer. Her husband, Fred, died Feb. 27, 1929.
Survivors are three sons, Alfred and Walter of Maryville and Robert of Collinsville, three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Estella) Draper, Litchfield; Mrs. James (Agnes) Lillie, Maryville, and Mrs. Ray (Lucille) Hoppes, Collinsville; eight grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. William (Julia) Bosomworth, East St. Louis.
The body is at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville where visitation will be from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 11 a.m. Thursday. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Pleasant Ridge, the Rev. Fred A. Duensing, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery at Pleasant Ridge.
