WOODBRIDGE - Funeral services for Harry Pappas, 65, 147 Berry Street, who died Thursday at the Perth Amboy General Hospital after a brief illness, were held Monday afterroon from the Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street, and at Demetrius Greek Orthodox Church, Perth Amboy. Burial was in Cloverleaf Park Cemetery.
A resident of Woodbridge for 30 years, he was a chef at the Maple Diner, Elizabeth, and a member of Local 539 Luncheonette and Soda Workers Union, Newark.
Surviving are his widow, Clara; a son, Lazaros, at home; a stepson, George L. Bratsano, Woodbridge; a step-daughter, Mrs. Nicholas Zaires, Woodbridge; and a brother, Louis Winter, Park, Fla.
