"Edward C. Webster, of Bowie, died at home on April 26, 2009 at the age of 59. He was born in Tucson on June 8, 1949 to Edward Clarence and Helen L. Mitchell Webster.

Edward was a graduate of Palo Verde High School Class of 1966 in Tucson, was a truck driver and loved to Bass fish and was involved in many tournaments. He was a passionate drag racing fan, and loved his wiener dogs. Edward moved to Bowie four years ago from California and attended Bowie Baptist Church and was a very active volunteer for Rural Accent in Bowie, where he was on the Board of Directors.

Survivors include his son Taylor (Emily) of Oakdale, Calif., sister Sharon Webster (Mel Jackson) of Bowie and his brother Kenyon (Jeannie) of Oakdale, Calif. and his Beloved Dachshund Pee Wee. Preceding him in death was his dachshund Francis, a sister Sandra Prince and his parents.

Memorial Services were held on Saturday, May 2, at Bowie Baptist Church."
