The funeral for Adeline A Jorgenson, 74, Kensal, will be at 10:30 am Friday in St Paul's Lutheran Church, Kensal. Visitation will be until 8:30 pm today in Evans Funeral Home, Carrington and one hour before services in the church. She died Monday.

Adeline A Short was born May 24, 1916 near Kensal. She was raised and educated in Juanita. In 1935, she married William Briss. He died in 1956. She married Alfred Jorgenson July 2, 1957 in Kensal. They farmed near Kensal.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Eugene Briss, Walnut, California; Deverne Briss and Gary Briss, both of Fertile, Minnesota; and Dwight Briss, Circle Pines, Minnesota; a daughter, Janelle Kracht, Carrington; six stepbrothers, Clifford Samson, Pick City; Russell Samson, Florida; Cecil Samson, Texas; Gordon Samson, Enid, Oklahoma; Stanley Samson, Branford; and Lyle Samson, Center; two stepsisters, Birdella Beach, Juanita; and Donna McCarther, of Florida; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
