She married James Mesecher in 1864, married Aaron Fogle in 1884.

James Mesecher is last found in Hancock Township, Hancock County, in the census of 1880. There is no evidence that James ever lived in LaHarpe town or LaHarpe Township, no evidence that he died there. He is not listed in cemetery records for either LaHarpe City Cemetery or LaHarpe Township Cemetery. No mention of his death has been found in a LaHarpe newspaper, and deaths in the LaHarpe area have been published from 1875 forward. From Adelaide's obituary, James died about 20 years previously. Were we to guess, it's likely that he died in Hancock Township, and was buried next to his infant son somewhere in Hancock Township.~The Quill, page 1
