He was married to Leta (Gal) Glover on December 29, 1936. Mr. Boardman was a retired executive of the B.F. Goodrich Tire & Rubber Co. He was a former Mason and Rotarian, served as a board member of the Terrace Park Country Club and as an honorary Kentucky Colonel. Mr. Boardman was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Terrace Park.
He is survived by his wife Leta, two sons, Max Boardman of Akron, OH and Sheffield Boardman, Jr. of Carbondale, IL, two sisters Mabel Cowsert and Betty Kruze, both of Sarasota, FL, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
A Memorial Service was held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
