Catherine moved the family to the area around Dornoch, where her 6 brothers lived.
Her eldest daughter Mary married John Sullivan, who's farm was on the other side of the Priel farm. Bridget Ellen the next eldest, married Andrew Priel, son of their neighbor John Priel.
Michael and Margaret went to California with their cousin James Brennan in the mid 1860s. Michael married Mary Ann Gilligan, while Margaret married John F. Teague; James worked at the Teague farms.
Thomas married Cecelia McGrath, who was the local primary teacher in 1866, and they and Catherine moved to Mara Twp (where Catherine died 3 years later).
Patrick never married. He died at the House of Providence in Wellington, and his death was reported by his cousin once removed, Mother M. Dympna (who was born Margaret Sullivan. Her mother's father was John Brennan, Catherine Brennan Roach's brother).
