Mrs. Hunter Acheson, one of Effingham's very nicest ladies had lived 75 years last Sunday, Feb. 9. Her daughter Mrs. Henry McLenon remembered it was her mother's birthday and took a big basket of dinner home to help celebrate the occasion. The McLenon family was the only members on account of the distance that could be present, the other children Paul and Mrs. Ellen Smith both live in Texas. In the afternoon, a number of old friends and neighbors called to congratulate Mrs. Acheson.
