Manchester Press, Colesburg, IA -- The funeral service of Mrs. Henry Chambers, occurred last Tuesday at the home of the deceased at Graham, Iowa. Rev. Hursh officiating. Lydia Marie Curler was born October 19, 1824 in Vernon county, Ohio. {However, censuses all say born in state of Vermont). In 1840 or 1845 she was united in marriage with Henry Chambers and to them were born 11 children, nine of whom survive her. In 1860 they came to Graham, IA, where they resided until her death, which occurred on July 10, 1910 at the advanced age of 85 years, 10 months, and 9 days. Mrs. Chambers was a faithful member of the Methodist Espicopal Church for 20 years. She was laid to rest in the Oak Hill Cemetery beside her husband who departed this life Sept. 9, 1905.
