Clara C. Ball, 87, wife of Christian Pence Ball, died Wednesday evening at the family residence, 1304 Kirby Ave., following an extended illness.

A native of Zanesville, Ohio, she moved to Muncie in 1916. Prior to moving to this city the family lived in Redkey. Mrs. Ball was a member of the First Brethren Church.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Meeks Mortuary at 10 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. James Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
