Catharine I. "Kate" Brown, age 105, of Eaton, OH, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Vancrest Health Care Center in Eaton. She was born on July 12, 1907 in Miamisburg, OH to the late George F. and Waneta (Holmes) Beiswenger. Kate was a 1925 graduate of Miamisburg High School and went to nurse's training at Miami Valley Hospital from 1925 to 1929. She married Ralph Brown on February 14, 1929. H. Ralph passed away in 1985.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her half-sister Frances Gephart Bollinger; and nephews George Bollinger and Truman Bollinger.
She is survived by her niece Juanita Koors of Bellbrook, OH; great niece Kim Jackson of Lakengren, OH; nephew Jack Brown of Eaton, OH; great nephews Terry Brown of Eaton, OH and Mickey Brown of Bellbrook, OH; and several other nieces and nephews in California, Georgia and Saudi Arabia.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 10:00 am until time of funeral Services at 11:00 am at the Girton Schimdt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Wayne D. Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in Hillgrove Cemetery, Miamisburg, OH.
