Married Merlin Edward MEAD on 14 Nov 1820 in Waterbury, New Haven County, CT. In about 1829, for health reasons, they relocated to Franklinville, NY. In 1841 they moved to the historical Howe-Prescott House in Cadiz, NY, and then to a larger house nearby. The Mead house was involved with the Underground Railroad during the Civil War.
