Daughter of William A. and Mary Griffiths Brown, she married Loyal L. Adams, lived at 14 Mechanic St, Sugar Grove, Warren, died there of cancer of right lung, per death certificate 116996, whose informant was William, L. Adams, Sugar Grove.

Mrs. Martha Brown Adams died at her home in Sugar Grove at 6:20 pm Wednesday following several years' poor health. Born in Vandergrift April 4, 1889, she was the daughter of William A. and Mary Griffiths Brown.

She lived in Sugar Grove for several years, was a member of Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, its Sunday School, the Hill and Dale Garden Club, and WCTU.

She married Rev. Loyal L. Adams. former pastor of Sugar Grove Free Methodist Church, and he survives, with three children, William L. Adams, Sugar Grove, Paul L. Adams, North Chili, NY, and Mrs. T. E. Kiffer, State College; her mother, Mrs. Mary Brown, Tarentum; two brothers, William Brown and Willis Brown, Tarentum; five sisters, Miss Adelina Brown, Mrs. Iren Wilson, Mrs. Louis LeClair, Tarentum, Mrs. Mamie Diess, Donora, Mrs. Earl Nold, Natrona Heights; and 6 grandchildren.

Services will be in Sugar Grove Methodist Church at 2 pm Saturday with Rev. Robert Williams officiating. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery at Sugar Grove.
