Miss Ayers and Ralph H. Barter Were Married on Sunday.
The marriage of Miss Annie Lee Ayers to Ralph H. Barter took place Sunday night at 8:30 at the home of the officiant, Rev. E. W. Brown. On account of the illness of the bride's father, the service was solemnized quietly and was witnessed only by members of the two families.
…. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Barter left for Roanoke, Va., and other Eastern points. Enroute home they will visit the bride's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. John H. Burt in Atlanta, and later the bride's father, in Birmingham. After November 15 they will be at home in their apartment in the Belcourt.
Mrs. Barter is the daughter of W. P. Ayers. She was a graduate of Hume-Foge High School. Mr. Barter is one of Nashville's most prominent young business men, being manager of the Chicago Mill and Lumber Company.
