She was born on September 13, 1939, in Stanley, ND, the daughter of Christopher and Lydia (Schwede) Hansen.
She married Donald Logen on August 25, 1961, in Minot. The couple made their home in Minot where Elaine worked for McKinley School as a lunchroom attendant and a playground supervisor. She also worked for a short time with the Dakota Boys Ranch and Community Hospice, both Minot. For many years Elaine took care of Donald until he died on March 30, 1998.
Elaine loved to talk about her grandchildren and her favorite pastime was playing bingo.

Visitation: Wednesday, from 9 a.m. until Noon at the Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot and one hour prior to the service at the church.
